The COIN Network was launched at the Conclave on AI Governance organised by the Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI (WSAI) and CeRAI at IIT Madras. The launch brought together leading voices such as Prof. B. Ravindran, Prof. Venkat Ramaswamy, Krishnan Narayanan, and Anil Ananthaswamy to advance a vision of a co-intelligence world where humans and AI systems learn and act together.

The network brings together twenty-one COIN Fellows across five themes, designed to encourage cross-disciplinary thinking and strengthen the co-intelligence conversation. It aims to build a community of scholars and practitioners exploring how co-intelligent systems can shape the future of work, education, society, and planetary resilience.
