Ameen is an experienced law and policy professional focusing on Global South tech policy issues, with specialised knowledge of and practice in the Indian landscape. He is proficient in legal research, and legislative and policy advisory on issues of AI ethics and governance, and data governance and policy. He is formally trained in qualitative and mixed methods research, and in undertaking systematic reviews and evidence gap maps. He has a master’s degree focusing on evidence-based policy (EBP) from University College London and a law degree from a premier national law school in India.
