Dr. Anindita Sahoo is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Madras. Her primary research interests are in Linguistic Typology, Syntax, and Pragmatics. Her recent work focus on the typology and grammaticalization of voice and copula constructions. She is also interested in language and communication studies from an acquisition and cognitive processing perspective. She did her Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi.
