Saurav Prakash

Assistant Professor

Dr. Saurav Prakash is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at IIT Madras. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Genomic Biology (IGB) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and before that, he completed his PhD from the University of Southern California (USA). His research interests broadly lie in genomic security & privacy, federated learning, hyperbolic geometry, and information theory.
