Sowmya S. Sundaram
Research Lead
Dr. Sowmya S. Sundaram is a research lead at CeRAI. Her research publications center on trustworthy AI in healthcare, bridging the gap between algorithms and real-world clinical application requirements. Previously, she held postdoctoral positions at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and Stanford University (USA) where she collaborated closely with the hospital environments at Hannover Medical School and Stanford School of Medicine. She earned her Master’s and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, following her Bachelors from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.
