Description:
AI / GenAI technologies have taken the world by storm. They permeate all aspects of our lives - the way we socialize, work, shop, play, entertain and so on. What about the way we learn? We have a number of research questions such as:
- What about bringing GenAI technology into the classroom?
- Is it a beneficial technology for the educator and the students?
- Does it threaten the relevance of a human teacher?
- How reliable is the technology?
To explore these aspects, the Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) and the Centre of Responsible AI (CeRAI) at IIT Madras are anchoring a GenAI4Edu Initiative, in collaboration with Wadhwani AI and Itihaasa Foundation, on GenAI4Edu at Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and GenAI4Edu at Schools.
Objectives of GenAI4Edu Initiative for HEIs
